You are invited to the FA’s National Volunteering Conference!


The FA’s National Conference event, in its second year, will share skills and knowledge and raise awareness of the support available to new volunteers from a diverse range of backgrounds. 

This season conference will focus on new female volunteers and new volunteers who will support the growth of the female game. We are working in some really targeted areas of the Country where we hope to turbo charge the efforts to support the Women & Girls’ pathway.

Workshop sessions

There will be three different workshops available on the day. You will only access one of these workshops:

1. An introduction to Volunteering

A workshop that will support new volunteers to take their first steps into volunteering in the game. The aim is to introduce delegates to the number of roles available to them off the pitch.

2. Volunteer Planning Workshop

A workshop that will provide tangible advice for the recruitment and retention of off pitch volunteers to support the overall development of your football sessions. 

3. On-pitch coaching workshop

For aspiring on pitch volunteers to gain a better, entry level understanding of practical delivery in the game through coaching delivery. 

It is recommended that you register with two other new volunteers to your club or session or with aspirations to get involved in the game, so that you can experience all three of the workshops between you and go back to your area with as much information as possible!
